ABOUT US
The George Anaesthetic Group is an association of independent private practicing anaesthesiologists who provide specialist anaesthetic services in the Garden route region of South Africa. We are registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the South African Society of Anaesthesiologists.
The hospitals where we mostly provide our services are Mediclinic George , Mediclinic Geneva and George Surgical Centre. We also provide services on an individual basis to Mossel Bay and Knysna.
Our responsibility to you begins with pre-operative preparation and advice, followed by the best possible care throughout surgery and into the post-operative period.
Our role is to assess your health, perform any relevant investigations, discuss the risks and benefits of anaesthesia and then to assist you in choosing a suitable anaesthetic plan for your surgery.
Our goal is to deliver the highest quality of specialist anaesthetic services possible to our patients, to make the daunting experience of surgery easier. Our priority during the peri-operative period is to ensure your safety, comfort and pain control during as well as after the procedure, providing you with the best start on your the path to recovery.
